I was very disappointed with the size of the pearls, they are very small, about 4mm width whereas in the photo they are much larger. The size of the pearls was not in the description of the necklace either. Its a necklace more suitable for a child or young girl rather than for an adult and I paid the RRP of 10 too.

Yes they might be small but if you looking for something that is elegant but subtle that is what you can find. i really like them.

The pearls are smallish but nice and uniform in size and shape. At 3 , I bought three necklaces and braided them into a beautiful necklace/choker, where the size of the pearls is just right . The necklace works well as a single strand as well, but at this price, you can afford to get creative and customize it to your taste.

What a lovely surprise when my pearl necklace arrived. It was nicely boxed and for 3 it is incredible value. I am really, really pleased with this product! I also ordered pearl earrings to match - They were superb value too for around 3. The amethyst necklace came in a long pink box and it will make a wonderful birthday gift for my niece. The filigree heart pendant at 6 (sterling silver) is superb value. Again this product is well presented in a lovely box.

Because these are now very cheap,I bought several strands (I chose free super- saver delivery,if you don't choose this option,the postage costs mean you don't end up with quite the same bargain,so check how much the psotage is going to be,before you check out,I'd say it's worth buying a few of these! ) They are pretty,but the size description of 4.5 mm is a bit dodgy,and can't be taken to be 100% accurate (these are natural freshwater pearls,I assume,the size and shape of each pearl will vary anyway)
Having bought several strands,I can report that they all vary,one strand contains very small pearls barely 3 mm, and even the length of each strand isn't exactly the same.
However, the pearls are an even, warm white colour, with a good shine, the necklace is well made with a secure clasp, and for the current price, are an absolute bargain; you could barely buy temporarily- strung 'loose' pearls (without a clasp) of this quality, much cheaper anywhere else,including the well- known internet auction site...
Worth buying, as other reviewer's suggest, to make into something else, and because the pearls are small,they'd probably make a nice alternative to a chain,if you had a large pendant of some kind, with a big enough bail,or loop that will pass through... but at this price, they'd make a nice Christmas stocking filler, a bridesmaid's gift, etc..all round, a good buy for your money!
