Love it April 11, 2007 J. Gill (West London) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have owned this watch for many years and love it! It is simple to use and alter, the count down alarm is really useful for cooking and it is very comfortable on my tiny wrist.(Husband took a few links out) It is getting tired-looking now and following battery replacements is no longer water-resistant. As there is no similar alternative I will have to replace it with the same - but I don't mind other than the girly boredom-factor!
Great Watch! April 5, 2008 Mrs. C. L. Smith (The North) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was really pleased with this item! I had seen it in a high street shop selling for 36.99 and was so pleased to find it on Amazon :) The sellers were fantastic! I ordered late on Friday afternoon and it was with me at 8.30 the next morning! Love the watch - retro cool and very practical... Takes me back to the 80's
Nice all metal digital watch, but beware treacherous strap June 22, 2008 A reader from the UK I have always found it difficult to find an all metal digital ladies' watch that is small enough for my tiny wrist and smart enough to go with most attire, and was very pleased to find this lovely simple design from Casio. It is very basic, with just an alarm, timer and stop watch, but these are sufficient for every day use. Two minor drawbacks are the lack of a light, and the fact it is only water resistant so one does need to be careful when around water. The main drawback, however, is the treacherous strap, whose buckle comes apart very easily. The watch being so light, it is very easy for it to fall off unnoticed. I nearly lost it a couple of times. In the end, I bought an expanding bracelet strap which cost almost as much as the watch itself, but offered better security! My watch also looks much smarter and is irreplaceable. I used to have a Timex which was very similar to this Casio but had an expanding bracelet and a light, but this died after 8 years of use and sadly is no longer available. This Casio is a reasonable substitute, and I am quite happy with it - except for the strap!
