Bought this watch June 2007, so have now had it nearly 8 months and had no problems with it at all. In fact there is a wee bonus not mentioned in the specifications blurb on the Amazon page - the minute & hour hands actually glow in the dark (although you need 'charge' them by leaving near a light beforehand). Also, there are three mini-dials (for hour, day and date) on the watch face.
To be honest I've never really been much of a watch wearer, but this Bench watch has a comfortably sturdy leather strap, and I'm pretty chuffed with it. Since it cost me less than 20 at the time I feel it's proved to be a decent bargain. Recommended.

I just received this watch today and am very impressed with my purchase. The dial is big and attractive the colour combination of the dial really looks superb and it is an usual thing with Bench. It is worth for 17.48!
Amazon delivery is also superb arrived by courier and the watch had a box that could fit 50 such watches!
