It is truly a nice looking watch, but I made a wrong assumption that such a trendy watch would include the basic feature of backlighting to help illuminate the time in places of low-lighting.

A few probs:
The instruction booklet seems to cover every model other that this one. "Fine", you might say. "Why would I need to read instructions for a watch?"..Read on..
The two buttons on the side can only be pressed as long as you happen to have a compass, dart or pencil handy. The buttons are the two small black circles in the middle of the two yellow bits, which can't be gotten to with human hands. The yellow bits do nothing at all.
I Only found this out by taking the watch to a jewelers to check if it was broken or not..
BTW: Can someone confirm this - Just so I know that i've not got a few buttons missing?!)
Other than that, it tells the time just fine..

I bought this watch because it looks amazing, and after I received it, it does just that - look great on my arm. It's seems sturdy, got a great weight to it, and once set up properly even adds to the image with the three time display options. It is true that you need to set the options with a pointed object, but at the end of the day you're not meant to by cycling through them when you're trying to measure boredom on your tube ride home. Not ideal for frequent flyers (I didnt bother changing the time, unless I went for a few days). I got a lot of compliments for this watch, as, despite its understatement, it is a real looker!
The reason why I am giving it 4* is that I cannot wear it anymore. I dropped it once at the gym, and it fell on the buttonless edge. The glass lost a corner in the incident, but that was not much of a problem for me. Much worse was that the liquid display must have taken a hit, as the color started draining out of the digits, leaving a yellow line across the top and no numbers to be seen after a few days.
I think a good watch needs to be able to handle an occasional moderate drop, I know my Breitling, Tissot and even Swatches always have.
Great watch, am considering repeat purchase.

The watch when you see it on the website looks identical to the real thing. It probablies looks better when you get it in its swanky white box that it comes in. The price is obviously something you really need to consider? do you really need to spend 50pounds on a watch? well I personally think with this watch YES, it goes with any item of clothing and its great for hitting to clubs/pubs. The NO-BACKLIGHT is not a big problem I can manage to still tell the time in a club, so don't let other peoples reviews scare you into thinking you won't be able to tell the time in the dark. Changing the time, well I've only had to do that the last few days when the clocks went forward but its an easy job and amazon set the time for me because I recieved the watch with the correct time. However the one negative point is that the black matt paint on the watch is very easy to scratch.
