Buzz Hollywood,more like massive disappointment October 31, 2007 Mrs. J. M. G. Rodger (Dunblane,Perthshire) 11 out of 31 found this review helpful
I was awaiting this latest edition to Buzz eagerly, and i got it today. What a disappointment. If you have ever played buzz before, you will know the formula by now.If like me you were hoping for some new rounds, and exciting new features, then you are in for a shock.Apart from a few new characters, which aren't overly impressive, and one new lousy round called rollover,it's just the same tired old format. The familiar rounds are still there, but there are no questions on anything except movies and stars of movies. Unlike the previous games, where there was general knowledge and movies, music etc,it's just that MOVIES. Buzz has the same old lines as usual,no new dialogue at all. He and Rose are spruced up for the hollywood edition, but ther's nothing new at all. You either have to be Barry Norman or Jonathan Ross to win.I really think Buzz has finally stopped to be such a buzz. Buy any of the others in the series, but save your money, don't buy this inferior addition to the series. I was really looking forward to playing this, but after one game,it's destined for sale. I wanted to give this 3 stars at least, but i struggled because of the lack of originality and entertainment. It's game over for Buzz.
New Topic - Same Game October 31, 2007 S. Smith (UK) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I'd been waiting for a film edition of Buzz for ages and I was excited when I got it home and got playing. The formats exactly the same as previous Buzz games with an almost identical line up of game rounds as "The Mega Quiz" with the new round being the weakest, revealing a movie star slowly and you need to guess whom it is. As ever if you know the answers you'll love the game and even if you don't there's always multiple choice answers to help you on your way. You do need to be a movie buff but most of the questions we had were more catered towards recent films than golden oldies although some questions none of my family knew and that was on the normal mode! Buzz Hollywood does nothing to move the game forward which is its only real down point but if you love films and/or quizzes this will be perfect for you - best with as many players as you can find!
Brilliant fun for the family November 7, 2007 CJ Wheatley (England) 2 out of 6 found this review helpful

Rip - off!! November 21, 2007 plain Jayne no brain (uk) 2 out of 17 found this review helpful
Thanks to the reviewer below. Not only was I gullible enough to try to register with this site, they now have my name, address, and date of birth and I don't even have a registration. It takes you through registration, you fill in your details, then when you try to log in - your details are invalid. When you try to re-register with the same information, which according to them does not exist, it says that your user name and email address are already registered! You try to contact them to tell them of your plight, but guess what? You have to log in to email them. But we all know now that you can't do that, 'cos they have what they want off of you - and you ain't getting anything out of them! The old saying comes to mind right now "if something seems too good to be true - it usually is". BEWARE!!
An excellent addition January 3, 2008 Mr. P. Bestall (Sheffield, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had to laugh when I saw the review claiming to be disappointed that the game only features questions based on films. Hmm, I wonder what else they make in Hollywood! It's a mjor improvement on the three previous games, with some excellent new rounds, better graphics and music. The questions are pretty varied and there's something for everyone in this installment.
