Not an amazing addition, but expansions never are. You'll **need** this to even consider playing online, as %99.9 players have it. It adds some nifty balance issues too.
Note: This is the EXPANSION. You will need the ORIGINAL GAME to install this!

I thought this would be rubbish cause no one reviewed it and not many people bought it. But it was quite a good expansion for Roc. I first played 1 player and i thought it'd be shit like all wc 1 player games. but it was well fun actually Just cause of illidian looking so cool.Then i played multiplayer and it ruled! it was way fun, all the mini games like uther party had way improved. Good game .. way good!

If you enjoyed Reign of Chaos (Warcraft 3) then you'll dig this. The graphics haven't improved any but they remain tolerable. I enjoyed the expansion up to a point but it's basically more of the same and that's what lets it down, nothing really new apart from one or two units and after a while it seems just same old same old.
If you're looking for some simple hack and slay to kill a week or so then go for it but don't expect too much.

got this disc today,but found that it's expansion set as the exactly same as the other one called expansion set,but there is no any signal says this series need warcraft iii first,so disappointed...

This is a good expansion to the original game Reign of Chaos. It gives you extras such as new heros, new buildings and all new campains. The graphics aren't excellent but you can live with them. It gets a bit boring after a while. The online multiplayer makes this game much better. Without it the game would be boring. All in all i would recommend this to get the most out of Warcraft 3.
