World Championship Rugby (PC CD)

Although it has only the world cup teams,i am glad to see the amazing graphic detail which was lacking in Rugby 2004, you can even identify individual players. From what i have heard the game is also coming out with a player editor so you can create your own teams. The game however does have very few stadiums, which is a bit disappointing. After the great Jona Lomu Rugby, i am looking forward to having a rugby game with good gameplay rather than the ordinary games from ea sports. Hopefully this game will set the benchmark for Rugby games in the future and provide competition to other rugby games. go to worldchampionshiprugby.com for more info and see the game for yourself before buying. Ok, this game is one of the best rugby games around but this is not saying much. It does have great graphics, great detail (as long as you play as England or Wales)and it is visualy superior to others and enjoyable. Yet, most of the time this is not the case. The game does surpass other rugby games graphically and attention to detail of the rugby match process. But those who know the game will find it very frustrating it just feels rushed for the world cup market. You see you can only score one type of try pass it down the wing then the full back gets you then you repeat the process until you score. It lacks the complexity of the game such as forward runners to brake through the line, cross field kicks, scissors, switchs and off loads in the tackle. It gets very frustrating and very linear.

this is the first rugby game I have bought. It hasn't got enough pitches and the editor is only changing names that you want. You have a variaty of competions like: the world cup, euro nations(6 nations) super 12...
I advise you that before the playing you have to set the controls mine are the arrow keys to move,A to pass left, D to pass right and the space bar to score a try or by tapping it fast it gives you more power in scrums and mauls but when you takle a player and he falls don't tap if not... hold it down
I bet that you wan't me to shut up so I will, did I mention that you can have 3D grass...
only a pc game shoppers warnning it may not work for your computer screen may not be big enough so don't by it on pc, only X box and PS2

I can't belive that finally there is a rugby game worth looking out for, extremly good game witch I play one and a half hours every day,(weekends 3hours). This is the present and the future,It can't be past since they had crap Then, I've been looking for a good rugby game for 6years, my surch has finished at longlast
