Data 9 Reveiw September 28, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Guyver data 9 transformation tragedy is a turning point for the final 3 episodes the reason behind this is down to the facts that the bio-booster units named guyver without its human consiousness does kill without feeling and fear this is due to the fact sho when consious refused to attack his father who is transformed into enzymeII despite the guyver having his arm cut off and pierced right through the stomach he still refused to lift a finger to harm his father thus enzymeII destroyed the guyvers brain therefore shutting it down. A few minutes later the Guyvers control metal activated once again but sho was not consious but the Guyver unit itself was in auto pilot mode. After the battle sho's brain has been regenerated therefore realising the Guyver unit did kill his father. Sho's dismay and the hatred of the unit unabled him to bio-boost into the guyver until the last episode. I strongly recommend this film but i do highly suggest that you watch the first 8 episodes to understand to adjust to that situation.
interesting plot, genius kinda September 12, 2007 D. Mills (Rochester, NY) The plot is pretty interesting, and is a sort of action-psycholodgical drama. Sho and Makashima infiltrate Chronos HQ and rescue Fumio (Sho's father)and Mizuki. Sho, as Guyver I, escape with his father on his back, and Guyver III finds out within the base that Dr Balcus wanted Sho to escape, because he has programmed Fumio to transform into Enyzme II- A Guyver Combatant Zoanoid.
