The Lizzie McGuire Movie spins around the axis of Disney Channel starlet Hilary Duff, whose glossy good looks and rather mature figure are balanced by a sweetly bashful persona and an endearing klutziness. On a school trip to Rome, Lizzie is discovered to be the virtual twin of an Italian pop star named Isabella--and her dreamy former partner wants Lizzie to take Isabella's place at an award show to avoid a lawsuit. Only Lizzie's loyal best friend Gordo (Adam Lamberg) suspects that Paolo may not be all that he seems. The Lizzie McGuire Movie is competent fluff, with the most fun to be had coming from Lizzie's pesky little brother (Jake Thomas) and his Machiavellian friend Melina (Carly Schroeder), who plot to humiliate Lizzie for fun and personal gain. I have just bought The Lizzie McGuire Movie today on DVD and i've just finished watching it for the first time, I love it! The Lizzie McGuire Movie can be enjoyed by the whole family and it's full of Humor, Style and a very enjoyable story line! Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) is a 15 year old girl and has just graduated from junior high. To celebrate she goes on a school trip with her class mates to Rome,Italy where she is mistaken for an international popstar! Fame soon follows but she is then stuck to make the decision of a lifetime- to remain a famous popstar and live the life she's always dreamed of, Or come home to her beloved family and friends. What a heartwarming and fun-filled movie this is! If your looking for a good film to watch with the kids, or looking for a really cool and enjoyable comedy to watch time after time: THE LIZZIE MCGUIRE MOVIE is for you!

I have to say that this is possibly the worst film I have ever seen in my entire life! First of all the acting is truely terrible and bland. I don't belive that people think this film is enjoyable to watch! Secondly, the story line of this film is very unbelievable. I mean, a girl goes to Rome and a supposingly famous popstar mistakes her for his singing partner! Like that is ever going to happen! But I have to rate this film 1 star, because of the effort they put in to making this, even if the film is rubbish and boring to watch. SO, I GIVE THE AWARD FOR THE MOST BORING FILM TO WATCH ( IN THE WORLD )TO.......... THE LIZZIE MCGUIRE MOVIE! What do you think of the film? Do you agree with me?

I went to see the film when it was released and i really enjoyed it. The film is about a teenage girl going on a trip to rome. when she gets there everyone thinks she is a popstar and since the real popstar is away she becomes the popstar with all the star treatment. She has to sneek out of boring museum trips etc. to get to her rehesals for a big show she is showing to the nation.i would rate the film 5 because children from 6-12 (piticuly girls) would love it. There is singing, dancing,music and jokes. i would garatee a fantastic film for girls with a musical ambition!

I think this movie is a girlie movie fair enough but im a 17 year old guy and i loved it. I adore Hilary in anyway shape or form and really enjoyed the movie, the ending is an amazing finale and finishes off the film very well i recomend it to anyone a very very enjoyable film
