A cuning guide to the first half of Black Adder Goes ForthDecember 15, 2000 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ben Elton has done it again. Set in 1917 It is the first world war. Captain Edmund Blackadder and his faithful, loyal and cunningly stupid servents Private S. Baldrick and Loutenent George Colthurst. This video has all the wit and humour of all the previous series. Rest assured there will be plenty of cunning plans on the side of Baldrick (With the same usual success rate). There's George's witty remarks and of course there is Captain Darling and General Melchett to keep our good Captain set on his job. Episodes include a plan to get six inches futher into no-mans land, Blackadder's own firing squad and Baldrick's hilarious Charlie Chaplin inpersonation. I have a cunning plan, buy the video and rest assured you won't regret it. Let's just hope we get another series from the episode at the Dome!
