Leisureplay 6ft Wavy Slide March 31, 2008 D. Price (UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I have two young girls who were so excited to see a new slide come, They both helped me to erect it, which took about 90mins, the instructions are simple to follow, although I did take me three attempts to get the step poles the right way round.... One up, the girls have not stopped going on it. It is sturdy and well built, bright colours. It has a long stabaliser bar at the foot of the steps, and plenty of metal poles up the slide for support, and a pole from the bottom of the steps to the base of the slide, to hold it all together. Not much more to say, other than a good purchase, that my kids are enjoying.
not the best April 19, 2008 H. Knight (manchester uk) 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
the plastic slide feels a bit flimsy and tends to bang on the frame when the kids go down on it, the kids come off the end with quite a bang and i am concerned that they may get hurt. the instructions ar'nt the best to follow and took 2 attempts to get right and then my partner had to do the job for me, it took 2 days in total to get it spot on, as i'm a childminder things have to be done properly. i'm not expecting the slide to last the summer! kids kids like the banging on the way down though.

Bought this slide for my daughters birthday and all i can say is im so disapointed it took forever to put together , my little girl has a sore back and bottom everytime she goes on it!! had it a week she never wants to use it no wonder it was cheaper , i would not recommend it at all !!
Don't touch with a barge pole June 20, 2008 John Owen (London) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
OK - so it is cheap. That is about all one can say about it that is positive. It was bought for our 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son. It took 4 hours to put together, principally because the instructions are very poor and the slide is not well designed - all the screws seem to be a few millimetres too short - thus having problems getting all the washers on. I had to drill a new hole in the plastic slide because one was more than 1 centimetre out. When constructed, the product is very very flimsey. The picture is misleading - the wave in the slide is not half way down - but 2/3 of the way down - so children get thrown up in the air and land at the bottom of the slide where they hit their bottoms. After just two slides the plastic slide is showing marks of the supporting metal rods underneath. Each time a child goes down the plastic slide bangs against the metal supporting rods. The only way I can imagine anyone gave this product a good review is that they must belong to the company who are marketing it !! Dreadful. Avoid at all costs.

I enjoyed putting this together and it took me just under three hours with the 'help' of my girls. I don't like the clattering noise that it makes and there is a huge crash/bump at the bottom. I am disappointed.
