| Customer Reviews: worth the money July 25, 2006 jenny (scotland) 25 out of 27 found this review helpful
my 2 year old son has thrown this down the stairs many times and it has not broken, i am very impressed. My 5 year old and 2 year old enjoy this toy very much. the interior is very relevant to them, i.e. brushing teeth, washing, game play area and watching tv.
What a rip off. March 12, 2007 Mr. P. Howard 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
my son got given one of these for is 3rd birthday and i cant get over how badly made it is for the price my sister paid for it. Its very poor value for money
My Son Loves It May 7, 2007 G. Candler 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Excellent. My three year old son's all time favorite toy (so far). It's a perfect size. Big enough to hold the other die cast cars (such as Lighting and Sally, or HotWheels and Matchbox cars), yet small enough that he can take it with him in the car or play with it on the couch or coffee table. It has also been very durable. It is made of durable plastic (good for when he drops it on the hardwood floor - wouldn't want die cast!). All of the small parts (mirrors, exhaust, etc.) are made of a flexible almost rubber-like plastic that does not break, and the wheels are strong and haven't broken off yet. All of his other "big trucks" were broken within a couple of weeks (a couple of days usually), but after 2 months, this truck is still in one piece (at his request, I removed all of the small parts inside the trailer on the first day to make room for more cars inside and make it easier to close).
Looking objectively it's quite poor but... April 22, 2007 W. L. Overton (Warwickshire, England) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Being really impressed with the diecast Cars that my 4 year old son loves we got him Mack. Unfortunately, the build quality doesn't compare at all (it's very plasticy) and it's actually quite hard to open him up. Inside, it doesn't look like how it is on the film at all (although the outside is quite authentic) and I must admit to being quite disappointed in it. However, my son loves it and has loads of playtime out of it
This is quite a hard one to call. Quality-wise, I don't think it's worth the full retail price but I can't deny how much fun my son has playing with it and it goes well with the small metal Cars figures (although the bigger ones like Mater don't fit well)
Would be nice to have a proper full diecast one, though.
its a great toy but its not very big! August 25, 2006 Mrs. V. E. Harris (Guernsey, CI) 26 out of 29 found this review helpful
I bought this toy for my three year old it is a great toy, but I do want to warn others that the toy is 35cm long and 10cm high. I think that it is alot of money to pay for such a small toy if I had seen it in the shop I would not have bought it.
