I hate cutting my hedge. I'd let it turn into an overgrown mess before finally getting round to buying these cordless hedge trimmers. I'm really pleased with their performance. They are lightweight and easy to use. A longer blade might be slightly better, but this cheaper shorter version still works fine, and its fairly easy to keep trimming level. I was worried about whether lower powered cordless hedge trimmers could cut the thicker stems, but they've managed fine with my overgrown privet. I would recommend this to any amateur gardener, particularly those who don't want a gym workout every time they trim the hedge.
