I get through about 3 pairs of running shoes a year and this is the first time that I have tried these shoes. So far (about 3 weeks in) they are holding up well and indeed I have given up my other shoes which I now only wear to the pub. I will certainly purchase another pair in the future. This is a comfortable shoe which runs well and which holds to the foot well. It is flexible at the ball of the foot and holds the terrain well on outdoor running. It is the easiest shoe to clean. It is well aired and ventilates well - as a result it dries off quickly. The tongue does not slip to one side as happens in some shoes. The mark of approval by the British Army is well deserved.
A small criticism which is that every shoe manufacturer has its own idea about what constitutes a particular size. There are always tolerance issues. With my shoes though I did find that shoe and foot took about a week to get on, which after a bit of pinching they now do famously. In my case I am very glad that I did buy the size which I did but it took a bit of getting used to.
