2 IN 1 ELLIPTICAL CROSS TRAINER & BIKE November 17, 2007 P. G. Turner (Middlesex, England) 72 out of 72 found this review helpful
I previously have owned an exercise bike and an air walker but find that the elliptical cross trainer/bike takes up less space and is more versatile as it has a forward and reverse pedal action and you can stand up or sit down on it. Compared with other sports sellers this is about the cheapest one I have found. I am truely satisfied with it and recommend others to buy it. It is easy to move around and very quiet while in use.
Well worth the wait! January 26, 2008 J. Salmon (Essex, UK) 39 out of 39 found this review helpful
After a slight delay in delivery due to high demand,we received and put together the cross trainer & bike in about 20 mins. It's solid and takes up hardly any room at all (approx. 90cms x 50cms)- fitting neatly under our staircase. I've been on it a few times and, with the tension increased gradually, provides a great workout for both upper and lower body. You can stand using the cross trainer and pedals or sit down, with the handles stationary and cycle - or do a bit of both! I get home late from work and don't always feel like making the journey to the gym, so this is a perfect solution and I can watch my favourite TV progamme at the same time!
Worth it! August 6, 2008 Rachel Owen (Worcestershire, England) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I have suprised myself as after 5 months continuous use, I am still using this virtually every other day. The good thing about this cross trainer is that it is low impact exercise so injuries are reduced. You can wheel it anywhere (outside, in front of the TV, etc), stick on some music and off you go! I am a full time mum, so after the children go to bed, I use it for about an hour when I can and I can see the results!
Disappointing September 25, 2008 Zoe King 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this bike on the strength of the previous reviews, but now wish I hadn't. The so-called instruction book is abysmal, with poor English and useless diagrams, so it took me far longer than it need have done to put it together. I can't use the bike as a cross trainer at the moment because I'm short, (5ft 0ins) so find I slip off the saddle when the handlebars move towards their fullest forward extent. Maybe with a non-slip cover on the saddle, I'll be able to deal with that. For now though, it's a bike. The 'computer' is, err... a bit of a joke. Wildly inaccurate, it appears to deal in guesswork rather than real stats, and when the battery runs out, which it will because the thing refuses to switch off, I won't bother replacing it. As an exercise bike, it's ok - quiet in use, satisfyingly knackering, but it's heavy and awkward to move, and rather bigger than I'd thought it would be.
My Bike <3 November 4, 2008 Ms. H. A. Hartga (Cambridge) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Basically, I wanted a machine that was cheap, but robust, and something that got the job done. It does all three and I am very happy with it. Nothing beats listening to the pod whilst exersising, or watching Tv whilst riding, takes the effort out of exersise(which i totally lacked b4 hand...nooo effort!) One thing which i guess isnt too bad( as i just stand up on it pedal or sit down without holding on) is the handle bars, they are a weird shape and arnt really the normal Elliptical shape, but as i said.. that doesnt bother me, it definatley worth the money and Ive lost a good few inches in my waist and tummy, and whilst doing weights and riding at the same time have lost on my arms, I was a size 12, but am now a size 10 and toning up which is just what i wanted :)
