Product Description Powerball is a dynamic and completely revolutionary new gyroscope that literally explodes with mind numbing torque and inertia once you activate its internal rotor. It's about the same size as a tennis ball and weighs just a little more, but take a Powerball in your hand, set that rotor in motion with the cord provided (or use your finger when you get used to it) and you'll experience an extraordinary sensation:Power ball slowly comes alive with gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to your movement which is transmitted directly into your wrist and arms and which provides soothing, non impact rehabilitation at these lower speeds.

Why are there not more stars! February 24, 2007 Book Worm (Kent UK) 24 out of 26 found this review helpful
I have been using my powerball for over two years now and I love it as much now as when I first got it. The manufacturer's description really doesn't do this product justice, although their website does. If you use this powerball at low speeds it is great for RSI and other wrist/arm injuries. At high speeds it gives an amazing workout and really builds up all the arm and shoulder muscles. The build quality is incredible (do not be tempted by inferior wannabes) and the lifetime guarantee is unbeatable. I've had to replace a small part already (due to my intensive usage!) and they sent out the part quickly, free of charge and with full fitting instructions, can't say fairer than that! It is truly addictive and put it on a table in a room full of friends and you will all soon be fighting to out do one another on high speeds and other stats that the computer on top measures. I could write so much more about this product, but really you've got to buy one and try for yourself, you will not regret it!
Powerball - Fantastic! Buy one now!! May 17, 2007 The Admiral (UK) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
I wasn't quite sure what this was or exactly what it did when I saw it. However I ordered it after reading a few reviews. Stupid thing to do? Absolutly NOT! Powerballs are brilliant, but hard work. It looks like a plastic ball encased by another plastic ball. But set it going and its more of a work-out than using free weights. Once you set it going give it five minutes, if that!, and you will feel it working. It works out your fingers, wrist, forearm and upper arm. For somehing that looks so simple it is absolutly amazing. After I brought one I showed a few mates, every person I showed now has one. Most reviews seem a bit extreme, but they really are as good as these people say. Worth the next-to-nothing price they are. Buy one and you won't regret it!
A fine device July 18, 2007 Wayne Redhart (West Midlands, UK) 21 out of 30 found this review helpful
Those who are puzzled by the exact nature of a powerball should look for the videos of the world-champion Akis on Youtube. It is based on a internal spinning motion generated by undulations of the wrist (after starting the gyro with a pull-out cord). You won't find a better pseudo-masturbatory workout anywhere else. It is also very good for gentler rehabilitation. I believe that Doreen's personal trainer Juergen has been using one to soothe her old typing injury. After her last visit, I overheard her telling a friend that she enjoyed her session of 'powerballing' immensely. She always comes back exhausted, but never without a glowing smile on her face!
RSI helper September 24, 2007 A. Kanaris (UK) 20 out of 22 found this review helpful
Since I've used this, my RSI has definitely calmed down a bit... It takes some getting used to, but from experience, I rate it as a best buy and recommend it to anyone who needs wrist/ arm strengthening.
See the effects after just 1 week July 3, 2007 T. Brooks (Oxford, Uk) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
The Powerball really is great, the rotating ball counteracts your wrist movement to build up great strength in the whole of your arm. I play cricket and already i have noticed the difference in the way i bat and bowl. The Powerball is also good for treating repetitive strain injury and is a must for people who use computers all day. If you can get the Powerball upto 15,000rpm you will be doing the equivalent of 401lbs of weights.
