I've used quite a few of the 'entry-level' music packages, and this (with the exception of some of the old Logic packages) is the hardest and most confusing yet. It's so different from the usual conventions and structures of the major music packages, that it took me an age to work out what went where (all in ever-increasing numbers of windows). The plug in effects all seem to be ones that I have already downloaded for free from the Internet, and the time-stretching features makes the loops you get sound awful.There are some really good packages out there, this isn't one of them. Look elsewhere.

I bought this and updated to the latest version 5 from the website makingwavessoftware.com By far the most creative software out there - and I've tried most of them! It approaches it from a totally creative angle. This isn't a software studio - it is software designed for CREATING music!! And very cheap for what you get too
