I can't understand how the person who slated this can say what they have said. If they uninstall it and reinstall it properly choosing the correct setting, A4 for Europe, which is clearly stated. they will get what I am getting, which is a brilliant program. It has been completely overhauled and has such alot in it that you won't ever need to buy another card again. I also make my own handmade cards and there is such a lot in this program to add to handmade cards that it can only enhance that hobby too. The tools in it are brilliant and lend to the whole cardmaking experience too. Also, and this is the best bit, you think you're buying 6 when you get it from Amazon. You're not. You're getting 7. Brill.

I have always been a big fan of Nova's Greeting Card Factory and have been using version 4 up until recently. I decided to upgrade and purchased Version 6. Although the box says version 6 on installation it says Version 7. The graphics are fantastic, the design is easy to use, and I was very pleased with the new version, until I came to print...all my cards are being printed with two long black lines across the images or on the back of cards. I have doublechecked the settings and did select A4 european on installation. I know that it is not my printer or computer as the old Version 4 works fine. Other people seem to be having similar problems, and yet I can find no answers on Nova's troubleshoot or FAQs, and they are now closed for the next week. Based on the comments some people's seem to be working ok so maybe there was a faulty batch. Until this is resolved I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone.

Take no notice of the reviews that say it is only for the American market.
When loading you are asked if it for US or european paper sizes. If you can't get that bit right you shouldn't be using a computer. This programme is so easy I had it installed and working in no time. It has all that you could want in a programme of this type, although I expect Nova will find some improvements that we haven't yet found that we need. My wife has been using Printmaster 11 in conjunction with PhotoImpact 11. We did try an upgrade to Printmaster 15, but that did have problems with US/EU paper sizes, and as one would expect of a First Class supplier Amazon gave us a refund. A lot of the work that was carried out on PhotoImact can be done with this programme, and give excellent personalised results. My wife prints all of our cards (Birthday & Christmas) with personalised photographs and text. This programme is a winner. The only other thing that I can add is - "It's not quite all that it says on the can". It does say version 6, but it loads as version 7. Does that matter. I say not a bit except that I shall not know whether to upgrade when V7 is advertised. Probably best to wait for v8. If you want it BUY IT, at this price it's a bargain.

I bought Greeting Card Factory Version 7 but had problems with the printing of the cards, now Nova have come up with a patch which will cure the problem.
Launch Greeting Card Factory Version 7
Close the opening selection screen
Click on the Help menu
Select the " Get update from the Web " option
When the update is found, accept the new update promlem solved

I am delighted with Greeting Card Factory Deluxe 6 which was bought for me as a Christmas Present. Inside is actually GCF Deluxe 7 which is a bonus. So easy to use, as long as you have dvd-rom on your pc. Everything is on one disc, which compares very favourably with Print Artist 8 which I have been using for several years as that was on 10 discs. I have made so many cards since I got it, New Year cards, Birthday cards etc. and even written letters and newsletters, printed envelopes etc already and I have had it for less than a week. I found it so easy to use without having to refer to the manual all the time, although this is very informative and easy to follow should you need to refer to it. There is so much more to this product. Templates for every occasion, sentiments (verses) for your cards and an abundance of your favourite (and unusual)fonts. I couldn't have asked for more.
I cannot understand comments about this product not being UK friendly. It asked whether you want to use US or A4 (European) version as you are loading it. Simply fantastic. There is even a UK address and phone no. on the box for Nova Developments in Devon (the makers.
