This new Norton is less demanding on PC resources than ever. Have just uninstalled 2008 and installed this and the difference is immediate. Faster loads, no adverse affects when scanning and simpler than ever user interface. I would suggest that anyone failing to see performance gains over running other internet security from this install has failed to uninstall previous internet security software suites correctly, or has stray registry entries causing issues.

This product appears to provide everything needed for day to day use. I had previously used Norton 360 and found an immediate improvement in my laptop's performance. However, you do have to go through a two stage process each week to update the security settings instead of just one stage with Norton 360 which is a slight irritant.

Very easy to install and so far no problems at all. We have not noticed and change in the speed of our pc in fact if anything it is quicker than it was with the old Norton Antivirus. Recommended.

Excellent product! Very big step toward the competitor so tha now Norton is ahead of them all!:) It's faster, 'slimmer' than them... but on the other hand it's usually much more or at least just as effective as any other suite on the market! I have had nortons since 2005 verion and I must say there is corrently no other competitor on the marker! Well done Synematec!
