This stylish Casserole from Le Creuset is the ultimate piece of cooking equipment. Ideal for cooking a variety of dishes, it can also cook a great casserole. Made from cast iron, it heats up to incredibly high temperatures and retains that heat for long periods of time. Available in a choice of colours, this cast iron casserole can be used on both the hob and in the oven. It also features a cast handle on either side of the base, a solid lid and an enamelled finish.

in a NEW shade of BLUE (Graded shades), from Le Creuset.
Approx. Capacity - 5.3L
Boxed/Use and Care Instruction Booklet included.
Easy to use and clean by hand or pop it in the dishwasher.
With a little care, these cast iron dishes last for years.
Available in a variety of other colours and sizes, too, all at an excellent price, on Amazon, today.
Simply brilliant - this versatile Casserole Dish/Cocotte/French Oven is ideal for all sorts of recipes and my favourite in this, due to its size of 8-10 servings is:-
'Coq au Vin'
Or....to show the versatility of this brilliant `casserole' dish, you could make what my best friend makes in his - Bazaar-sized cakes, to aid local church funds and he has just turned out the most magnificent looking Celebration Cake, for Easter......now waiting to be iced!

Simply brilliant - this versatile casserole dish/cocotte/French Oven is ideal for all sorts of recipes and my favourite in this, due to its size of 8-10 servings is:-
`Coq au Vin'
In this serious pot, I can heat the oil to soften the shallots and lardons, on the hob..... then add my lightly browned chicken.
Temporarily take the pot off the heat, to add the brandy and fire ......allow to settle down!
I then add my bouquet garni (home made with the help of Nigella's Mezzaluna and Board), the chopped tomatoes and red wine......not forgetting the garlic...... put on the lid and pop in the oven on a low heat (I set mine at 150 ) for about 2 hours......
Or....
You could do what my best friend makes in his - Bazaar-sized cakes, to aid local church funds and he has just turned out the most magnificent looking Christmas Cake, for his own family......now waiting to be iced!
