I purchased this pan to add to my collection of Stellar Lamina. They produce an excellent product. I tried to find the old style handle but settled for this one. At the time it was touted as having been designed by a famous chef.
When the pan is placed face down in the dishwasher, the hollow in the underside of the handle fills up with water which finds its way onto the floor, shoes, and previously dry dishes. I've learned to live with it.
If You can still find Stella Lamina with the original handle you will have the perfect "five star" saucepan.
