Comes with a handy little `Chasseur' care booklet, which includes a recipe idea for each product range.
Available in a choice of colours, and suitable for all heat sources, hob and oven, including induction.
Knob tolerant of oven temperatures up to 230 C, but don't forget your oven gloves!
Dishwasher safe but easy to wash up by hand, too.

Once i had got the hang of the fact that u dont have to have every thing cooked on volcano heat - it burns!!! - i just loved the whole le crueset range. Once u use this range u will never want to use a box standard pan again. They appeared awful to me at first as, like i said, i was burning everything but then the penny dropped that u use a low heat once the pan was heated up. The only draw back really is the weight, as they r quite heavy, but again, u get used to it and i can now swing the frying pan with 1 hand as opposed to 2 when i first got em....best thing is that u can get different colours now. A defo must to have and u will never need to buy another pan again as they will prob outlast us.

I decided to get some cast iron casseroles about a year ago but was waiting to spot the right bargain and just before Christmas Amazon had a deal on these that I could not ignore. They had the Chasseur Cast Iron Round Casserole 26cm, 22cm and 18cm for under 100 so I bought all three.
I have used them all and they are absolutely brilliant. Browning meat is easy, the flavor is great and you only need a very low heat for a great result. One of the main reasons I bought these was to be able to do more slow cooking in the oven which I have done several times with very good results.
Of course they are very heavy especially when laden with food and the handles get very hot but you will soon get use to that.
It was also a nice surprise to find out that they are dishwasher safe but I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet partly because of their weight but mainly I rather not do that to protect the enamel coating from any possible damage.
Well,these really are the must have coockware for anyone who enjoys cooking and good food.
I have since bought the 26cm griddle pan too so my set is now complete.

Having wanted a casserole of this type from the other well known brand but not wanting to pay their prices (am I a cheapskate?)I purchased this item and am delighted with it. It is an excellent size for 2 people - important when the children fly the nest! It is bright and cheerful - easy to carry (use oven gloves) from hob/oven to work surface. I also found the booklet a bonus with some good recipe ideas.-
