The desire to extend those summer evenings takes on a brand new meaning now with this simply stunning addition to Outdoor Heating. The Alpina Parasol Heater has three folding arms containing a halogen heating element that can be independently controlled on or off. Halogen Heat provides a radiant form of heating, thus enabling the objects, rather than the wasted air to be heated up. In addition to heat the warm glow of the elements provide a soothing ambience in which to enjoy those extended evenings. There are no odours, unlike gas heaters and heat and light are instantly switched on and off. Economical to run when compared to Gas heaters ( the heat generated is similar to an 11KW gas heater). The product also benefits from being able to be used indoors and outdoors and is ideal for warming marquees for example. Should the parasol be subjected to tilting, then the in-built safety cut-out switch will ensure that the heating elements are immediately switched off. Finished in a stylish black and chrome trim this will enhance any garden or patio and provide safe, economical and an efficient method of outdoor comfort.

I ordered one of these recently and can highly recommend it.
I searched the web (and all the leading garden centres) for a suitable heater after seeing similar (but much more expensive) versions being used in pub gardens, and this is by far the best and most competitively price one I've seen. The company are a very professional outfit and the product is of a very high quality and much more environmentally friendly and less cumbersome than a gas patio heater.
It gives off a good amount of heat, but isn't overpowering and doesn't emit that awful red glow that some of the cheaper versions do. I do find that we have to have all 3 heaters on for it to give off a good amount of heat though, but we've only used it so far on really chilly evenings.
I was initially a bit cautious about ordering it because it wasn't a brand I'd heard of and the company was new, but I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I received my order really promptly and the company is very professional to deal with.
Overall - it's a great quality, reasonably priced product that will certainly help with those all too frequent chilly summer evenings.
