Product Description
Water enters the unit and is exposed to the UV light which kills the algae cells which cause green water. The water is then evenly distributed over a foam sheet via a spray head, solid particles in the water are trapped in the foam sheet. Almost solids free, the water passes through plastic biomedia where beneficial bacteria cleanse pollutants. Purified water then passes up an outlet tube and back into the pond. The filter features a viewing hatch to observe the internal operation of the filter, in particular whether any maintenance is needed. Reccomended inlet hose size to be used is 25mm - 40mm. Outlet pipe size is 40mm.
