very very very impressed November 29, 2007 L. J. B. (england) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
after reading a very favourable review of this product i decided to invest in one myself.it arrived extremely promptly and i am absolutely delighted with it.so much so that after the first time i used it on my kitchen floor i kept waking up during the night thinking about it (sad i know).i am very very very impressed.i wouldnt like to say what it is like on carpets as i have no intention of using it for that purpose but on vinyl and tiles it is brilliant.it saves filling up and emptying buckets and is very easy to set up and use.
Very happy January 24, 2008 Mr. P. A. Smith (Fife, Scotland) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is a very good product. We have a lot of hard flooring on our ground level - both hard wood and karndean (like thick linoleum). The karndean is fabulous at trapping mud from our dogs' paws in its little nicks and crevices and until previously the only way to clean it was hands-and-knees scrubbing. Now: a little cleaner applied directly to the floor, followed up with this steam unit has brought out kitchen floor back to life. For the rest of the house, this essentially acts as a really good mop - no need to scrub it back and forth - just slowly glide it over the floor, letting the heat build up underneath, and the result is very good. It is essential to get this product with the 4 mop heads - the amount of crap that comes out of the floor when you steam clean it means you get through the padds pretty quickly. However, a quick wash in the washing machine, 1 hour to dry on a radiator and you're good to go again. It's also satisfying to see what you a picking up from the floor (and a little embarrassing!) I would definitely recommend this product for anyone with hard floors that require regular cleaning. This seller delivered it nice-and-fast too.

Never thought I'd get excited about a piece of cleaning equipment but this is a little beauty. Quick, clean and as a previous review said, highly embarrassing when used first time! No cleaning smells, no wet floors, no wet mops - quick, easy and so good. Highly recommended for hard floors. Pads are easy to wash and dry and the whole thing is much, much quicker than mucking about with buckets. Easy to store as well. An excellent buy.

Just used mine for the first time. Found it much easier than lugging a bucket of water and mop all around the house! I have a 4 bed house with hard floors throughout except for the stairs and landing, and have managed to clean the whole house in less than half an hour. There is only one downside to this gadget that I can see - the cord is about 3 or 4 feet too short! It just about reaches from one side of my kitchen to the other, but I had to fetch an extension lead to do the last couple of feet of the living room. We dont have any pets, so I dont have dog hairs or anything to contend with, but still think its probably best to vacuum first, otherwise you just end up pushing clumps of wet dust around. I also found it good to clean the floors well without the use of detergents - Im pregnant at the moment, and have had lots of sickness set off by the smell of flash/dettol type floor cleaners!
Problem solved April 9, 2008 Martin Cooper (Birmingham, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a number of other contributors have said, read the reviews, saw it on the telly and thought (and hoped) it would work. General opinion was that it was good on floors, poor on carpet. My opinion - works great on sealed wood floors and lino (in the kitchen). The glider does seem to work well on particularly dirty rugs (front door, back door etc), but no real wow factor on standard carpets noticed. My only moans are the power lead is a little short (as noted in other reviews) the reservior doesn't hold loads of water so frequent refils are needed You'll really need a funnel to pour the water in without spilling it Buy loads of mop heads, you can easily use 4 on one kitchen floor, but they're washable! Overall, pleased with the product, only had it a week so can't comment on durability. Would recommend
