I've had this machine for about 3 years now and I find it indispensable every hayfever season. It definitely makes a difference for me and if it's a really bad day I've found that breathing in the filtered air from close to it gives me relief quite quickly. It does rumble a little, but I find its white noise quite relaxing and actually use it to mask outside noise sometimes too.
Only drawback is the cost of the filters. You do need to change them regularly if you want the best out of the machine and they ain't cheap.

My room is very dusty and i get nasal congestion most of the time when i'm in my room, hence i bought this air purifier.
The sound of this machine is okay...the low humming sound is in fact quite calming for me.
Unfortunately, i'm very disappointed that there wasnt any noticable improvement in air quality in my room. In fact, it "mobilizes" the dust in my room, making it worse.
I dont know what else to do now. But the bottom line is: this machine is not doing anything to help.

We have this filter in the room in which we keep two parrots. [If you know anything about birds, you'll know they spread dust like there is no tomorrow.]
Advantages:
1. It is compact and lightweight.
2. It does purify the air, quite a bit, in a smallish room (prob. not as big an area as claimed).
3. It is easy to clean off the filters with a vacuum cleaner.
Disadvantages:
1. It wouldn't be that great on its own in a larger room.
2. If the room is very dusty (especially from pets), you should clean it out every couple of days for optimum performance. Although if you have to clean the room that often anyway, it won't be a problem because it is small and only takes two minutes to vacuum it out.
3. I found it too noisy for my taste - but I like near absolute silence. If you are like me, you'll find it irksome when people are around or you are on the phone. [Of course, the noise won't bother everyone and one reviewer likes this noise.]
All around, however, I give it four stars because the positive outweighs the negative.

I've had my unit for nearly 5 months now. Originally purchased as I suffer from hay fever and I usually react to my dog in the warmer weeks in summer. So far the unit has been brilliant, it filters the pollen, pet dander and other particles that would normally set me off. Also being small you can move it from room to room easily and as it has a HEPA filter it gets to work straight away. It wouldn't be ideal for a very big room, that's something you have to be aware of, but for the price you can't go wrong, it's certainly worked for me!

The air purifier works fine, but I have found it impossible to buy new filters.
I called the number which is written on the inside of the air purifier as the way to order new filters and ordered 6 filters at a cost of almost 100. They have never arrived. I've been trying to get through on the same number for ages now to ask what has happened. I've found it difficult to get through at all and when I did the staff seem to know nothing.
The payment has gone out on my credit card so now I have to figure out how to get my money back as it seems the filters will never arrive.
I would not recommend buying this air purifier as it's useless once you use up the filter which comes with it.
