This is a fantastic item, I bought one for my sister last year and my life has become much more peaceful ever since. I no longer get hauled out of bed at 3am, following ear-piercing screams because a wee spider has come within 20 yards. With this little vacuum she handles them herself, albeit with a running commentary for everyone to hear! If you no anyone that's spider/insect phobic but wont allow anyone to hurt or kill the creatures (thank goodness!) get one of these. The only down side is releasing the insect as the catcher doesn't have a "blow" function, so you often end up banging the plastic tube trying to shake the reluctant creature out - otherwise this is one of the best inventions ever!
