This is the Joseph Bentley Carbon Steel Potato Fork. As with all the products in this range it's not only a lovely hand tool, it's robust and hardwaring aswell. The Speciality Garden Hand Tool Collection is inspired by a wonderful selection of antique family heirlooms. Bentley's have developed tools that have the look of antiquity but work as well, if not better than modern equivalents. The onion hoe, Daisy Grubber and Pistol Grip Dibber are excellent examples of how ancient designs perform superbly. The planting spade is based on dyking and draining spades. The long narrow blade is perfect for excavating both post and plant holes, particularly in restricted areas. The bulb planters make an arduous and repetative task a pleasure. We now supply a free of charge bolster that allows the long handled planter to be used repetitively in rough ground.

This really is a quality tool at an excellent value-for-money price; very robust design and of high quality construction, it is absolutely great for digging up potatoes - it causes almost no damage to the crop. I'm tall, and the fork really suits me - tho not a lightweight, it is well-balanced and easy to work with.
BlueWorld Gardener gave a very fast service - I received the fork 4 days after placing the order via Amazon.
