a cute clipper November 30, 2005 96 out of 97 found this review helpful
I bought this mower in the summer of 2005, just moving to a small garden. It does a great job and is so easy to use. I can lift it with one hand and hang it on the shed wall when not in use. Very long grass needs two rounds, with the blades set high to start with - but this is standard practice anyway for mowing lawns. The grass collector is of course small - but then it is still eminently portable when full! A great find for the small lawn
Good product for the small or medium lawn June 23, 2006 T. Edwards 66 out of 66 found this review helpful
I bought this on the basis of the other four star reviews here. They're correct in every regard. Easy to assemble, lightweight (easily carried with one hand) and it cuts the lawn well enough. I wouldn't want to be mowing a large lawn with it because it isn't self propelled and it has a small presence or footprint. But if you have a small to medium lawn then this is the mower for you. I had hoped that it would also pick up the privet hedge clippings I hadn't managed to rake up and sure enough it got all those as well as the grass clippings. This suggests that you could mow the lawn and get the leaves in the autumn, which is nice. If it has a vice its that small clippings of grass blow out the sides of the grass box making a brush up of the surrounding pathways a final job when you've done the lawn. I haven't tried any other mowers so a fifth star would be unsafe.
lightweight mower makes work easy June 4, 2006 Richard Shephard (Northampton, UK) 56 out of 56 found this review helpful
I can carry the mower through the house to the front garden with one hand while I unlock/open doors with the other! In use the mower is easy to push, being about 7kg apparently. Doesn't do stripes, but I don't care in the least! The motor seems more than adequate - instant speed and enough power. A well designed product: height adjustment is by a simple spring and notch mechanism that's cut costs, and the handle folds very easily with chunky captive bolts you can't lose. the big handle in the middle makes it easy to carry the mower. The grass box is small (has to be so that it doesn't tip the light mower backwards) and the cable is captive and short. I can change that however, so I'm happy.
Great Little Mower September 25, 2006 Mr. C. J. Walley (UK) 56 out of 58 found this review helpful
My house only has a small garden yet the landlord issued me with a lawnmower that I can only describe as a Hummer painted orange. The thing was so huge and heavy it left ruts in the lawn and manouvering from the back garden to the front required me to move the car out of the way. On top of that it had no grassbox so after mowing the lawn the garden and everything within a half mile radius was covered in grass. What attracted me to the Easi-Trak 320 was the price and usually I would have jogged on by had it not been for the positive reviews other buyers had given it. I like buying things based on non-biased reviews so ordered it via Express Delivery and it arrived the following morning. Opening the box the first thing that struck me about the mower was the quality of manufacturing, it is very well put together for its price. Assembly is quick and easy requiring just two wingnuts and two screws to attach the handle. One of the good features about this mower is its lightweight, I found I could carry it around with one hand easily which meant I could bring it through the house and not move the car out of the way. Out on the lawn this is noticable too, manouvering the mower is easy. Mine got a tough test on it's first go as the grass on my lawn had grown so high postmen were struggling to find the house. However the 1000watt motor cut through the jungle like conditions no problem at all. Yes the grass box is small, but that's a trade off for its light weight and small size. The height adjustment is awkward too, you have to adjust each wheel individually but that's worth the cheap price, but neither of these issues should be a problem if you maintain your lawn regulary, and you probably will with this mower because it's so easy to use. I have tried quite a few mowers before and have to award this one five stars because for it's low asking price it does everything perfectly.
good but one little problem November 21, 2006 simon zak (uk) 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
bought this mower a couple of years ago.no problems untill till the bearing burnt out on the top of the motor assembly.only wish the bearing carrier was made out of metal not plastic. overall though i may buy it again as it does an excellent job of cutting my grass.
