I know buying an iron is not exciting but having bought this product I am really pleased with it and wanted to share my views. It heats up really quickly and the steam function is great. The light is really usefully and very jazzy a good reminder that the iron is switched on especially with the kids about. Only downside is the need to refil frequently .Otherwise a very worthwhile product

I bought this iron when it was in a sale on Amazon a month or two before Christmas. What a good buy! It's lovely to use and the flashing blue to tell you it is still plugged in, is really cool. If you are buying the iron, it has to be stored horizontally using the sole plate cover supplied, even when the iron is piping hot the cover works so well you can actually hold the bottom of the iron straight after ironing. My mum and sister-in-law have now bought the same iron from Amazon 'cos it's cheaper than the high st.

Living in a hard water area I needed an iron with a calc-clean function which this iron has unlike my previous iron which spat and left marks all over the garment I was ironing, which was so bad it needed washing again.
It is a superb iron which steams like a dream through the ironing pile it is quite heavy but this is not a disadvantage as it can remove creases a lighter weight iron can't handle. The only slight complaint I can make is the frequency with which it needs refilling. However, this is a small minus point in a iron which has so many advantages over all irons I have previously owned, and they have been many, that I still rate it a 5 stars.

I bought this iron on the strength of the reviews to replace a two year old iron which had started to leak from the base. I'm fairly pleased with it, although I wouldn't say it is five star fantastic - it is fairly decent.
This is a good iron which is easy to use and store, has the plus points of automatic shut off and clear controls, and the long flex allows you to get all the way to the end of the ironing board comfortably. I wouldn't say it is a heavy or bulky iron, it is a fairly standard shape and size which is easy to control and you do have to press down if you're ironing creases out.
I also wouldn't say it makes ironing almost effortless. When tackling something which is fairly normally creased I have had to go over it a couple of times to get a good finish. If you have it on a hot setting (cotton or linen) and medium to high steam it manages three or four garments before needing more water. But, obviously, the cooler settings use less water.
So, basically, this is a good iron with some handy features and a reasonable price tag. But, it isn't a 'magic' iron that takes all the time and energy out of it.

I bought this iron because my current iron irritatingly spits out random water drips and rust spots when ironing on steam. The reviews I read led me to believe this one didn't suffer from that. Sadly they were wrong and almost from day 1 it has managed to spoil if not completely ruin some favourite tennis shirts and casual wear. There are a lot of cheaper irons that will perform as well as this one.
