Flawed yet perfect February 6, 2008 Carol C (London) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I feel it would be unfair to give this toaster less than a perfect score, even though the paintwork is flawed, because it excels in every other way. It is stylish, with loads of functions, but best of all IT COOKS TOAST PERFECTLY. The flaw? - It's a line in the paintwork near the knob on the right hand corner of the toaster.
Good design - great toast May 14, 2008 Mrs. Patricia Arber 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This makes great toast, simple to use and stylish. Like the way it bleeps when toast is done! Delivery was fast, ordered it on Monday - arrived Wednesday morning. Thanks again Amazon.
Not good enough May 25, 2008 JethroUK (England) Yeap + it toasts fine + even on both slices + variable setting - but so did the 6 toaster it replaced + has LED display + it beeps when the toast is done so what's the problem? it describes a "high-lift feature" - like it's something more than you should expect - but unlike the 6 toaster it replaced (no special feature) - it does not lift toast high enough!!! - i never had a problem getting toast from any other toaster before this one - leaves you fishing toast by poking fork into it (not very safe) otherwise tip the whole thing upside down - again not very safe crumpets? - forget it - you'll never see them again OK - it works fine and i've marked it down because of one lousy short coming - but it's 'a toaster' not an Hi-Def LCD TV & this model doesn't qualify for the name - this is Morphy Richards bread & butter (xcuse the pun) business - how hard can it be? - quite frankly this toaster shouldn't made it off the production line P.S. I've read this is not the only MR toaster with same 'low lift' problem
