Just last week seen this item in store and bought it right away. Fantastic idea as manual pruning typically ends up with sore hands and blisters. Even better I had two volunteers who where fighting over who is first in line to do garden work (nice side effect). The little machine really does do pretty much everything my hand pruner does. And when you compare side by side with the manual alternative it is quite amazing how much punch this useful helper packs. You always have the same power whether you have to strech to reach a branch or whether it is close by.
Runtime was not an issue at all and we cut a lot. In my garden it cut everything it got between the blades (it does struggle with old dry rose wood but i also did with the manual alternative).
My mum who has not as much strength in her hands any more was thoroughly delighted with the machine and is on her way to get one for herself.
Great idea cleverly and nicely packaged. Seems like Bosch is not running out of neat ideas.

Last Friday I filled half a wheely bin with cuttings and my hand and back ached. I used a top flight manual secateurs.
On Saturday I filled a whole wheely bin with cuttings using my new Bosch Ciso. No effort, no aches. Quicker, too.
At first sight this is an expensive luxury but if you have a large garden, and particularly if your grip isn't what it once was, this tool is a little gem. It is comfortable to use and the maximum thickness of stem is easily determined by the fixed guides (black in the photo). After a full bin of cuttings - it must have been several hundred - the battery showed no sign of run down and only once or twice did the thing take a fraction longer to cut through thick branches. Recharging was quick.
On the basis of a couple of years experience with the similarly powered Bosch screwdriver, this should hold its charge for a long time and should always be ready for use. (That screwdriver is also a little gem, tiny and ideal for women - though I noticed that my central heating man carries one in his tool bag.)

Excellent product. It really takes the strain out of pruning. On the minus side it is a bit pricey, but I think it is worth it

Excellent product at a good price . I bought this back to our garden in France as over here they are 80 euros !
Seems like an extravagence , but it is worth every penny .The jaws are cleverly designed so that you cannot try and cut something that is too thick . The theory is that if the branch fits between the jaws then the cutting blade can handle it .
Treat yourself --you won't regret it
