I had problems with squirrels in the house soffit and fascia. I also used 1/4 chunks of a snickers bar. It took a few days to catch the first one but after the first one the trap probably smelt of squirrel. Caught four so far (hopefully that is all).
The trap appears to be long enough so the tail is not trapped and is quite strong. Tip: if putting it on the roof, make sure it is tied to something (if I hadn't I don't think the squirrel or cage would survive the fall).

Although at first glance the Big Cheese looked small cheese it trapped my troublesome squirrels without causing them any injury, e.g. no trapped tail. It was unbelievably simple to use and trap the squirrels. I had fear of them bashing their way out of the cage when trapped, but the strong spring loaded door was always secure and held it's contents. I highly recommend this product, especially at the price of £16 including p&p, it's pound cheaper than any of its rivals. I trapped 6 squirrels, who had invaded my loft, within a 10 day period.

I bought this as the reviews sounded promising.Got the trap last week and last night i caught my first squirrel.I think there are 2 more and i hope to have the same success.Humane and user friendly.

The trap is well made, especially considering the low price.
The release catch is a bit uncertain - you can set it and it releases on its own when the wind blows, or get a situation where a squirrel can get in the trap and eat all the bait without setting it off. Getting it just right takes a bit of time, and a small amount of tweaking with round nose pliers.
I've caught two tree rats so far, and boy do they get mad when you go near them. They try and claw you through the trap so wear decent gloves.

took a few hours to get the first one. all 4 squirrels trapped within 72 hours. gets better reviews than the havaart trap. an absolute must for anyone troubled by the vermin.
