I was always envious of all the right-handed guitar players as being a left-hander I could never pick up a normal guitar and just start playing. If you wanted to play a left-handed one you could always re-string a right-hander and play upside down (a la Hendrix). You could have also spent a lot of money on a custom-made guitar but that's something a lot of us don't have. Nowadays with China producing cheaper goods you can get just about everything, left-handed guitars included. The Encore is solidly built and a fantastic performer for the price. The kit provided with this guitar is also great value for money, I can't believe the amount of extras you get in this package. The guitar sounds great and the amp is plenty loud enough for all those who want to rock straight away. Various guitar magazines have given the Encore an overall score of 8/10 so don't let the price fool you into thinking this is a cheap and cheerful instrument. If you want to start out and don't want to break the bank I would highly recommend this package even if you were a complete dummy like me who knew nothing about music. I would also recommend the left-handed book that Amazon includes as a package, there's a wealth of instructional material in there which is ideal for the beginner.
So all you wannabe axe players, get buyin' and get strummin'!
