For just a few pounds you can play movies and tv shows that were perviously trapped in your Ipod on the big screen. Simply plug in the lead, set your Ipod's video settings to "TV OUT" and enjoy. You can also play your music through your TV too.
Can't recommend this little lead high enough!

Beware, this cable doesn't work for newer iPod models (mine is a 80GB classic). You need to buy Apple's own expensive cable, which has some sort of chip in it to allow it to work.
The description of this item should be changed to make it clearer which iPod models it works for.

Although we read the other reviews it did not work on my nano 4GB Ipod, which was disappointing. Customer service was good when the product was returned, so keep the Amazon Brown card wallet until the product has been tested just incase.

i have an 80 gb ipod classic and bought this cable thinking i could watch movies on the big screen.....HOW WRONG I WAS!!!

I read some of the other reviews about this item so was initially hesitant to buy it. However, I'm glad I did.
This lead is brilliant. All you have to do is connect the three colour coded leads to your televisions A/V input, the other end to your ipod and set your Ipod video TV settings to 'out'. You can then play all of your video files at quite a good resoultion.
I have 3rd Generation 30GB video Ipod. If it works with my old model, I'm sure it would work with newer ones, if properly set up.
