Amazing little things. May 4, 2006 S. Faulder (UK, Birmingham) 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
These speakers are exactly what i needed, they are lightweight, compact and low cost and they pack a punch. Once id opened them i hooked them up instantly and tested them using the song "In Dust" by the Chemical Brothers. The treble was really nice and crisp and as soon as the bass kicks in I was amazed. Even at low volume these speakers are very powerful. With the volume maxed they still retain incredible quality and the Sound is phenomenal. Also on the remote volume control there is a headphone socket, this is very useful as it saves my from reaching round and fiddling behind my pc. The only very slight critiscism that i have is that the volume control is qutie light and is easily dragged on the edge of the table by the weight of the wires, although a bit of fiddling and positioning or a blob of blu-tac will rectify this. Overall, they look stunning, the sound is great and they are only 24!! Do yourself a favour and buy some NOW. Hope this helps
Size Matters?? April 14, 2006 A. Futcher (Oxford, UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
When I first took these minature speakers out of the box, I seriously doubted they would be up for the job. I plugged them in, including the sub, and wacked on the bassiest tune I could find, that being Leftfield 'Phat Planet'. I was suprised and very pleased with the power, bass and overall quality. They also fitted very snuggly on my desk without taking up too much space. I wacked up the volume, plenty there while keeping the crisp quality without going distorted. Great value if your looking for compact speakers for your PC, CD or Mp3 player, that produce the goods with style.

Can't buy better for the money July 19, 2006 Mr. Gary Shilling (Lowestoft, England) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Great, fab, ordered monday got wedesday, time from out of the box to use 2 mins. Normally scepticical about other peoples reviews and don't buy this like this without listening to them first, but thought what the hell. Don't get me wrong if you wanted them to use as a main stero system you can get alot better. I would recommed these to anyone even people I don't like. Only get four stars because the cable fron the sub to the laptop is too short (Still about 2.5 meters) for my ideal use.****
unimpressed - faulty on delivery July 27, 2006 Mike Sanders (Stockport, UK) 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
I bought these on the basis of good reviews and, to be fair, I may just have been unlucky with a faulty unit but one speaker didn't work at all and both speakers emitted a continuous low hum whenever the power was switched on. Having said that, the sound playing from the one working speaker & the sub-woofer did sound OK! Of course they were returned for a refund. Maybe being over-demanding considering the 19.99 price tag but i would have liked to see a facility for idependently adjusting the sub-woofer volume. Also the remote volume control does seem an awkward feature. My chosen replacement will definitely have controls fixed to one of the speakers.
