Does more than I thought...December 9, 2005 49 out of 49 found this review helpful
I bought this so that I could use the bulb setting on my D50 without shaking my camera everywhere.
I was very happily surprised to find that when you set the camera to 'remote' mode, the bulb mode changes from having to hold the button down for the duration of the shot to where you have to press the button once to start the shot and again to finish - great!
Yes - it works with the D80January 5, 2007 Simon-E 43 out of 43 found this review helpful
Bought two of these from Amazon (one for my Nikon D80 and the other for a friends Nikon D40)
Works great ! The sensor on the D80 is on the front left hand side but this remote works fine even behind the camera indoors (presumably bouncing off the walls). Outside needs to be at least to the left side of the camera.
Price on here seems to go up and down all the time but at under [...] its a bargain.
Nikon ML-L3 RemoteFebruary 3, 2005 38 out of 38 found this review helpful
Bought one of these based on the above recommendation and it works fine. Mine has a velcro seal on the supplied pouch and a (tiny) cut-out belt loop so the remote won't fall out. The box says 'made in china' so there may be some variation between manufacturing sites in what you get. Controls my D70 AOK.
Does exactly what it says on the tin!June 11, 2006 Dicko(North Yorkshire) 28 out of 28 found this review helpful
It's a remote which i bought for my Nikon D50, guess what? It works a treat! It's a remote (v small) which allows you to take photo's without shakin your camera! And it works. If you need to take longer exposure photo's this is what you're after and the price is good. Not sure why this wasn't provided with the camera as it is a cheap and effective bit of kit.
Smaller than you might have thoughtFebruary 23, 2005 Richard Shephard(Northampton, UK) 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
I was surprised when it came, because it's only 35-40mm long. The little pouch can be threaded onto the neck strap. It's not just for taking self-portraits. You can use it instead of a cable release. The camera's on the tripod, but you could still wobble it with your shutter press. Using this instead will eliminate that.
Would have liked a key-ring loop on it. Only 4 stars because to be honest I think it could have costed less.
