I was really surprised with the quality of this cable. Both ends are like pieces of jewelery with the logo engraved on the gold plating. There is no plastic used on the cable ends, it is entirely metal so the cable is quite heavy. Normally a sign of quality. Currently using the cable between my PS3 and Panasonic Plasma and I can't fault the quality, the picture is just mind-blowingly good! The cable itself is protected with a really tightly woven plastic jacket making it really durable. Overall this cable just looks and feels really high quality and I can't fault the performance one bit. For under 20, when I compare this lead to what some of my friends have paid 60 for, it is excellent value for money. I will be coming back for more when I get my HD-DVD player after xmas. Quality.

I bought a 7 Metre Platinum cable from HDCABLE, I ordered it late on Sunday night and received it by 1030am on the Tuesday morning so no problems with dispatching or delivery then. The packet was a jiffy style and arrived in perfect condition. Upon opening the packet I noticed the weight of the cable usually a good sign of quality, the finish of the cable was faultless and looks more than I paid for it, so very happy so far. On connecting the cable to my humble LG DVD player the connector pushed into the sockets with a good fit. On spinning a few DVDs to see if the cable had improved my system and it had, the blacks were blacker and the colours were so vibrant it was like swapping my humble DVD player to HD. I can recommend the cable from HDCABLE with absolutely no hesitation. For your reference the cable connects via hdmi a LG DVD player and Sony projector firing at a 72inch screen. Buy,Buy,Buy,,,

Well I ordered this cable and the image quality is fantastic, but for the first 5-10 minutes it just keeps losing signal and cutting out then back in very quickly which is very annoying. When you turn off 24p it sorts out so I think even though the cable is advertised as being 24p compatible, I think its not so it really struggles to keep a connection. If you can get use to the fact that you need to warm the cable up and wait sometimes in excess of 10 minutes then you'll be rewarded with excellent picture and sound quality.

Having been slightly dissapointed with the HD output of my Samsung plasma through playstation 3 and HDDVD, i decided to have a go at replacing my HDMI cable, after hearing from a friend that this could make some difference. After recieving this cable in the post, i did the acid test on a blu ray, using my existing cable, then this, and the difference is amazing. There is a distinct difference in image quality with Sharper,brighter images and colours using this. Even my HDDVD player,( Which on some discs is a real dog) looks fantastic. Highly reccomended.
