I bought this from Gizmo Deals. It works fine to charge my Palm M500, but will not charge my Creative Zen V Plus (which is what I bought it for). I bought another mains charger (that came as a single unit - cable integrated with plug, rather than just a plug to go on the usb cable), which was explicitly listed as charging the Zen V Plus - that works fine.
Gizmo Deals keep saying it must be the Zen that is the problem - but the Zen is brand new and works perfectly with everything else. They did offer a refund (not clear whether they would refund postage or just the 1p purchase price), but as I would have to pay postage back to them and as it does charge some items, I have opted to keep it.

This usb adaptor allows my Sony Walkman NWZ-A818 mp3 player to be charged via the mains. Just attach the usb cable supplied with the player and plug in. Very light and portable too.

Inexpensive, even allowing for the postage, and works perfectly with my Sony A805. Bought a second one for my daughter's A816 and this is as perfect as the first. No need to keep the computer running or take it on holiday with you !!!!

Bought this item in conjunction with the car charger they also make.
Both have worked fine. It got warm as you would expect but did not over heat.
I charged a Samsung T10 mp3 player from near empty and encountered no problems even after the device had reached full charge.
It's made of fairly good plastic too.

The cheapest Sony product for NWZ series MP3/4 players is almost 20.00 - this worked perfectly with a NWZ-S515 and NWZ-A816 players. Smaller than most chargers and releases you from looking for a computer when you are on holiday etc. Why compain about the postage? If it cost 6.00 and the postage was 0.01 would that make it cheap? I struggled to find a charger for the NWZ series never mind one this cheap until I found this (I bought three)- a bargain. If it works with other players - tell others here.
