liked it July 9, 2007 K. Harvey 167 out of 173 found this review helpful
Simple to use and good picture quality. I was worried about it bieng grainy up close but you have to be really close for that to be an issue. We liked it so much we bought another one for my mother in law.
Good image quality but no proper instructions September 6, 2007 Kevin Burton (UK) 81 out of 89 found this review helpful
We bought this frame as a present for a technically challenged person and opened it to put photos on so it would be ready to go. We are glad we did as they could never have done it themselves. There are no proper instructions about how to upload your images, only how to view them on the frame. The image quality is good but will depend on how good your camera is. I have seen more expensive frames and as with most things you get what you pay for.
Impressed. October 4, 2007 L. Clark (UK) 74 out of 77 found this review helpful
I brought this as a present for a friend, having not seen one working before and not quite know what too expect. it is easy to set up, and picture is clear. Would recommend it.
Lack of information prevents informed choice November 19, 2007 Patrick Grey (Scotland) 52 out of 55 found this review helpful
I could find no mention of the actual image resolution (how sharp it is) but the product description says "Pictures and videos are brilliant and sharp on the widescreen LCD". I tried hard to find resolution data, even on the Kodak site, with no luck. Turns out the picture quality is awful. It is very pixelated. My mobile phone has a far better resolution. I would say the pixels on the screen are about 1mm square. I can see the pixels from about 2ft away. Anything closer and it looks like an old arcade game image. It is not clear if there is internal memory in this frame, there isn't. The frame is nice, clean and modern looking. The buttons on the back feel very cheap and more often than not do not respond when you press them. I don't think it is a fault, just badly designed. The remote control shelf on the back doesn't attach as the points are the wrong size. You can buy a large high resolution monitor for 100 these days. There is no way such poor image quality is worth the 70 I regret paying for this. Surely picture quality should be the main concern of a frame designed to display pictures?
Easy to use November 14, 2007 George Mahoney (France) 33 out of 33 found this review helpful
Easy to use and works reliably. The resolution is only 480x270 so pixellation is visible. Timed switch-on/switch-off, transitions, and timed interval slide show from 3 sec to 1 hour but no random sequence slide show.
