Lowerpro Napoli 10 Soft Leather Digital Camera Pouch - Black June 13, 2007 H. Witherington (Cambridgeshire England) 18 out of 22 found this review helpful
This pouch was made in good soft leather but the product description I found to be inaccurate or wanting in detail and dimension, and my camera (Samsung Digimax i6) would not fit. The Pouch is padded but only on the front and back. The advertised H dimension of 9.5cm was accurate but failed to take account of he fact that the top and particularly the bottom of the pouch are radiused. The Pouch is soft and will accomodate the squarer form of the camera but is so doing the useable H dimension is reduced by at least 0.5 cm, rendering the pouch unsuitable for the camera. The W dimension of 2.7 cm I found to overstated and this was a problem too. The sides of the pouch were not padded and more importantly neither was the bottom. There was a memory card pocket but it was hard to access and unpadded and suitable for 1 card only. It would be helpful if the product description had a maxim recommended camera size to save the need for returns.
Snug as a bug! August 2, 2007 P. Owen (U.K.) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Bought this case for my Canon Ixus 75 (which I also bought on Amazon), And it couldn't be a better fit! There'a just enough room for a fag paper either side. Really soft suede lining to protect the large screen and top qaulity leather case. The magnetic closer is also great for those sneaky shots. The case itself is not too bulky, and can still easily fit in your pocket! A must for Ixus 75 owners!
Could be bigger July 2, 2007 Seta 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I checked Lowepro's site where a PDF document identifies the case model needed for a camera. This document recommended the Lowepro Napoli 10 for my Fuji Finepix F31fd. But its a VERY TIGHT squeeze. Okay, so over time the leather expands to fit the camera, but in the meantime considerable force is needed to squeeze the camera in, and remove from, the case. The next case size, the Napoli 20 would have been too large. Lowepro could and should do better!
Perfect for Canon Ixus 75. January 3, 2008 sniper 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Well, I read the other comments and took the plunge. No regrets at all, this case is well made and fits my Ixus 75 perfectly. Yes it's a bit tight to begin with, but not too tight and I can't fault it. Why spend more, buy with confidence.
Napoli 10 Soft leather Digital Camera case July 24, 2007 easy_action (Devon, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my Fuji F20. As another reviewer mentioned regarding the F31, it is quite a tight fit but is just about ok. I also tried the Napoli 20 but it was a bit too baggy. The main reason why i went for this one was that it doesn't add much to the camera's size, so is great for carrying in your pocket. Other cases that i tried had much better padding, but made the camera about the size of a dslr. The case itself is very nicely constructed from leather, and it compliments nicely the quality feel of the camera. Something that i particularly like is that the flap has a magnetic seal instead of velcro. You might wonder what difference this makes: i find it particularly welcome when i want to quietly slide the camera out of its case incognito, without the usual velcro 'rasping' noise. Over the couple of months that i have had it, the leather has given a little and the camera now slides in quite freely. The only point to watch for with the F20, is that the photo/video slide switch on top can be caught when you put the camera into the case if you are not careful - once you know about this it is easy to avoid. Overall, a good little case if you know it will fit your camera. I would definitely suggest trying in a store before deciding.
