How many of you woke up on Xmas morn with a shiny new Sony PSP? Well it not only plays games but did you know it stores Music, videos and photos too? This 1GB memory stick from Sony is an ESSENTIAL to all PSP owners, not only is it half the size and weight of one chewing gum sleeve but it can store roughly 250 mp3 songs! You dont need no Ipod with this little Beauty! Memory Stick PRO DUO is of course a versatile digital camera memory card. It is one of the latest digital data storage solutions in several types of digital devices; including digital cameras, digital music players, digital voice recorders, among many others which can be used to store information. Simply insert this is your PSP, plug in a USB cable and quickly transfer all relevant files into your brand new hadheld console.

Great price for 1gb memory - this can cost as much as 90 on the High Street. I use it in my digi-camera which gives nearly 400 photos(7.2MP)
fakes December 27, 2006 Danielle Johnson (Wales) 60 out of 66 found this review helpful
Basically, most/all of the Sony pro duo memory cards are from 3rd party sellers (not amazon). As amazon state above, they can not be held responsible for 3rd party sellers. I was worried about getting a fake sony memory card because there are a lot going around (and what do you expect for [...]) so I bought the most expensive one ( [...]), and unfortunately, I think it is still a fake. I found out from other websites that the way you can tell is by checking the seal; if the seal around the pack is closed all the way round then it's genuine, whereas if it has been kind of stapled together, it's probably fake. Mine was stapled together. Also the writing on the back wasn't engraved as they are with genuine Sony memory pro duo cards, but more like printed on. I don't seem to have any problems so far (although I've only had it for a few days) but I just wanted to let people know this. Perhaps the best thing to do is to check it it comes with a warrantee. Hope this helps.
Be careful buying online. March 3, 2007 Alexander Smout (UK) 41 out of 42 found this review helpful
I bought one of these from an electronics company via the amazon marketplace and it turned out to be a FAKE memory stick, I put it in my psp and it rejected it, i attached it to my computer and it denied that it was a memory stick. I wouldn't mind if it was counterfeit and WORKED, but it doesn't. All i am saying is be careful because this could happen to you, so i'd recommend using a trusted seller, for example amazon.co.uk rather than the marketplace. According to Ebay, 98% of the memory stick duos sold on their site are counterfeit. Ebay have a good guide entitled "FAKE Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo MagicGate Cards Exposed" on how to spot a fake. Be careful.
An essential piece of kit January 23, 2006 Mr. A. Akhtar (London) 39 out of 65 found this review helpful
I have a D750i (T mobile's version of K750i).This 1GB card has saved me any iPod envy whatsoever. 300 songs! Great reliability! And now that the rate of technology has increased so much - people are practically giving away their old 4gb iPods to get the stupid size 60gb - so now - I've got a 4gig iPod too! You won't go wrong with this card. Get it and wait for someone to pass you an old iPod. Great price too.
