Fantastic memory card and outstanding value January 24, 2007 S. Dowdall (UK) 59 out of 62 found this review helpful
Bought this product for my digital camera however at first my camera flashed an error message saying the card cannot be used. If you find this happens simply format the card via the camera menu options. Its amazing how many picture and video clips the memory can store, plentyful for most people so I would definitely recommend and at the prices above it is fantastic value.
Watch out for rip-off postage charges for multiple items June 2, 2007 Mr. E. J. Froggatt (London) 55 out of 63 found this review helpful
The seller (DVD Co UK) charged me twice for postage and packing despite the fact the both items were sent in the same 20 pence envelope and at a cheap rate of postage, this is a complete rip-off, the seller should have at the very least only charged me once for the the 4.50 of Postage and packing (in itself a rip-off), I don't expect this type of practice from supposedly reputable company" The seller seems to suggest that Amazon impose these rates of postage so shop around!
Cannot read in card reader July 20, 2007 Jerald Boddy (uk) 41 out of 48 found this review helpful
Got 2x2GB Kingston SD cards - work great in camera but cannot read in card reader. Can read other SD cards no problem. Checked the back of the cards and they have a small logo of the letters PC in a circle, with a line through the letters. Guess it means they cannot be used in a card reader and PC.
Beware August 31, 2007 J. F. Morgan 35 out of 55 found this review helpful
I bought this card for my father to use in a digital photo frame that i had bought him. Received the card and inserted it into his card reader which is part of his epson printer and message kept coming up 'insert card'. Thinking that the reader might be faulty i took the card home and inserted it into my HP compaq laptop and got the same message. sent back to get replacement as thought that card was faulty, received second card and same problems. Have now seem review stating that this card will not be picked up by some card readers as it is a sdhc card not an sd card. Beware as this is not stated anywhere on the card or the packaging.
Brilliant!! May 26, 2007 yaleey (canada) 32 out of 34 found this review helpful
I'm absolutely delighted with this product. It arrived very quickly. At 3MP (the most basic setting - ideal for ebay, etc), I can take an amazing 2177 pictures! At 5MP, I can take 1393, at 8MP i can take 857 and at 10MP I can take 686 pics, which is more than enough for my requirements AND at the best possible quality on my digital camera. Card reader works fine with it and I've had no problems with transferring my pictures to the PC. Maybe some of the other users have problems with their software or the card reader itself(?). I'd definetly recommend this card for the excellent storage capacity and reliability and of course, brilliant value for money!
