Great cable, a real bargain September 21, 2007 Mr. Ryan Patel (Rickmansworth, Herts.) 28 out of 30 found this review helpful
I bought this cable for my PS3. It fits perfectly and works brilliantly. The picture is crystal clear. The cable is a bit stiff but not really a problem. And at 10.99 is an absolute bargain when you see what some cables cost.
RECCOMENDED October 11, 2007 Roberto Tardioli 28 out of 31 found this review helpful
With a previous cable i couldn't use 1080p signal from dvd to lcd (snow on screen) and all the advanced functions such simplink LG or Vieralink Panasonic did not work. Trust me, it is better to spend 10 pounds for this cable that waste money with ( 1.95 + 6 of shipping.....) of other cable listed in other pages.
Works Perfect On PS3 October 3, 2007 C. Hall 23 out of 26 found this review helpful
Bought this item to conect my PS3 to my Samsung 26" HDTV which i recently bought off Amazon (for only 399.99 may i add Bargain!) I unplugged the old leads connected from my TV to my plastation and connected this one instead. When i turned the PS3 on it told me that a HDMI cable had been connected and sorted out all of the settings automatically. Picture is now amazing well worth a tenner. 5 Star
Get what you pay for November 30, 2007 T. Wilkinson (Kent, England) 21 out of 26 found this review helpful
After reading the other reviews on this product I went against my instinct and ordered the cable for a new Sony 26 LCD and a 250 Gb DVD/HD recorder system. It did not allow the two machines to talk with each other (no HDMI link found) and DVD images on the TV showed distortion when this cable was used. As long as you are only worried about a gaming cable this LINX maybe fine (I've not tried it) and I have no concerns with build quality but the data transmission through this cable is quite poor (I do not believe it to be truly V1.3a compliant). I would recommend spending a bit more money, the Sony cables are only a few pounds more. I spent 45 on a QED and the picture quality and operation of the TV/DVD system was transformed. I think it is worth buying a decent interconnects... how much did you just spend on your kit? Shame to ruin it with poor connection!
Excellent 1080p Cable January 8, 2008 Zee (London) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Very good affordable cable. Have no problems with it. The quality is just stunning. Supports 1080p signals. Don't be cheated by Curry's/Comet into buying a more expensive cable. This one does the job to a very high standard and most likely even better than the ones they are selling instore..
