Sennheiser PMX70 December 28, 2006 Craig Llewellyn (Birmingham. UK.) 110 out of 112 found this review helpful
I purchased these for running with after I got fed up with my toxic ear sweat destroying all my headphones. I am not blessed with tiny ear canals so the bud type ear peices fall out so I use the neckband type. With other headphones I would randomly lose volume in one ear peice and sometimes both. On other occasions it would sound like I am listening to the house stereo whilst submerged in the bath. These headphones are A1+ I have run about 120 miles in them so far ranging from a 4 mile fast run to a slower paced 10 miler as well as interval training. As with most neckbands they can rub on the collar of a jacket a little bit and looking over my shoulder before running across a road junction can slightly dislodge them but this is only a very minor issue. They are extremely comfortable and feel quite light, the ear peice has a rubber boot and once on I don't feel the need to re-adjust. The cable length is excellent as is the cable quality. It's not a cheap cable and is surprising flexible and comes with a clothing clip. The bass and sound quality is excellent and the ear peice actually cuts out quite a bit of background noise - fortunately I can still hear the traffic when road running. I was a bit put off by the green that Sennheiser have opted for but it's much worse in the online images, the actual real life colour isn't bad at all. So far I have had no loss of sound whatsoever. I'd definately recommend them. I don't normally lodge online reviews but I thought these deserved it.
Music and sport cant mix??!! August 24, 2006 Ian Smith (London, UK) 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I do a lot of running, cycling and general sport. I like to listen to music to keep me motivated and drown out the traffic... Most headphones last a few months max. The most common complaint is the cable going- the constant jarring over miles ends up destroying the connection with the ear pieces. There is nothing worse than being a few miles from home and the music stopping. The Nike sport headphones lasted 3 months, i've been through a few different manufacturers- all the same. These are the first to last. OK, when i'm running im no audiophile- I just want volume, decent bass and longetivity. These provide that. I would of give them 5 stars if they were black...

Recently upgraded from a very good pair of logitech headphones that took gruelling gym and running punishment rather well. These headphones not only feel lighter than my previous ones, the sound is significantly better, they are more comfortable around the ears as well as on them and take quite a bashing! The colour is a little off-putting at first but you soon forget about it as they are an excellent pair of sports headphones!
Fantastic PMX70 Headphones January 5, 2007 Mr. Scott Davies (Leicesterhire) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
At last I have found headphones that actually do what they say. Which is stay where they should while running. Absoulutley brilliant and the sound is superb.
Go and buy them! January 17, 2007 Sarah Portlock (Prestatyn, N Wales) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
Bought these headphones following a recommendation from a 'serious' runner to use in the gym as I was fed up of the usual 'bud-type' which are supplied as standard with most MP3 players, falling out. These are great, comfortable to wear, excellent sound quality and most importantly, they stay in my ears until I want to take them out! If you're into running or aerobics or even if you just want a decent pair of headphones you won't go far wrong if you order these.
