Yes okay, it does fit into the grilles of my air vent and it does hold my TomTom, but the build quality isn't very good and it's tricky to use. My TomTom doesn't slide into the clip very well so it is a fiddle to take in and out. Also once it is clipped into the air vent it is very hard to get out again. Also it sticks out a really long way from the dash and puts my TomTom in a position where I had to look a long way from the road to see it. I've gone back to just using the windscreen-sucker instead.

This is a fab bit of kit, its easy to clip onto the airvent, however I agree with the other review its not easy to take in and out often but once you have got onto your airvent this its a good solid grip and the mount inself is very good quality and easy to swival to view. I think this is safer and better hold that an window mount and is does not obstuct the driving view so I would recommend this item to anyone. I have tried a coupe of vent mounts and this one is the best that I have tried, I agree it might not fit all cars but the no quibble returns policy from this seller means that you cant lose.
