WAAS a load of hype..August 27, 2008 Paul the Brit'(Britain) This is a good solid little performer. I've used mine in foul weather and it has taken everything in it's stride (though it normally lives in a Tatonka phone pouch on my hip belt!). However all the hype about the improved WAAS accuracy is exactly that- so much hype. I HAVE NEVER HAD BETTER ACCURACY THAN -/+ 30 FEET with this unit. My old Etrex would get -/+ 10 feet pretty much all the time but sadly conked out leading to the 201 as a replacement. But providing the 30 feet error is acceptable this is a solid little GPS ideal for reserve use when the map-reading gets a little wobbly!
