This projector does the job great its good for games consoles and dvd players easy to set up and the zoom features and vertical and horizontal adjustment make it simple to get the right image. Well worth its money and its not been off much since i got the machine " kids love it". Linked up to a panasonic dvd surround sound system it gives a true cinema experience.

I decided to buy a projector to play my games and DVDs on my wall rather than on a small TV and I made a clever choice in buying this projector.

The setup is very kind to the new user, and the only thing that put me off was a set of cables supplied with the projector which I didn't actually need to use. Apart from that I would have been able to do it without using the manuals.

Performance for both DVD viewing and console gaming (Playstation 2 at least) is very crisp and movement is smooth. You'll be impressed to very quickly see your pictures projected so large. I've also connected up my computer to it, again the performance is impressive, although as a home user there are less times when i want to try it out with the computer.

It's not the top of the range option, but it's all I ever wanted and it works perfectly fine without costing the earth. I'm very pleased with this machine.

this projector is really good. you can have a 3m screen and its still bright. manual focus is easy to use and the keystone correction makes it really easy to get a rectangular image.
six hundred quid might get you a rear projection tele or a fairly large lcd, a grand might get you a plasma but i dont see the point when a projector this good is so cheap and small.
Plus there are new playstation2 light guns that you can use with projectors. Dont give away your television though if you get one.

Research suggested that I could have paid a great deal more for a projector, but I thought I'd be sensible and go for the 'entry level' for my first purchase. Can't fault it AT ALL! Best purchase I've ever made on the internet- and my credit card has had quite a hammering over the last couple of years. Seeing such a huge, clear picture on my wall has re-excited me about films. Brilliant. Easy to set up, quiet running, good picture- who would want a £2k plasma or LCD telly when they can have the local Odeon in the sitting room for a fraction of the price.I'm not kidding- get one of these before they all go!Amazon appears to be the cheapest supplier, but a bit gutted when they dropped the price by a further £20 a couple of days after i got mine- even better bargain for somebody

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Product for the Price   July 22, 2007

I have only known Epson to make printers up until now and because you'd expect them to be better at making printers than projectors then you're wrong. It has a very reasonable bulb brightness 1200ansi Lumens (which I have no idea what this means apart from how bight it is.) and automatic keystone correction to make sure that where the projector is mounted that the image will not appear slanted etc. moreover it has the ability to be mounted upside down on the ceiling. Furthermore it has the facility to shift the lens left and right so the projector can be off centre but the image is still centred, making that little bit easier to mount and place of you have an awkward living space. The picture quality is great for the price, you get all the connections you could need even serial for some strange reason. Overall a great product and well worth £400 over a 42" plasma TV because with this you can make the picture as big or as small as u like and its portable so you could even take it to you grans and show them you're holiday photos or whatever on a really big screen. Or even play on your Xbox or Playstation whichever console you happen to own.
