Best handbag I've bought in years! February 5, 2008 C. Finan (England) 41 out of 42 found this review helpful
Isn't it great when something is just perfect?! I bought this handbag with a certain trepidation because the picture wasn't very clear and I usually like to thoroughly investigate a bag before I buy! But I had scoured my local town and found nothing that really fitted what I wanted: a bag that was good looking, well made, practical, and would take all my bits without being the size of a small car. I also like a bag I can wear on my shoulder or across the body. Well - this bag fits all my criteria! I chose the 'mud' colour, which is a perfect description of the colour of this waxed leather bag. It is very well made with an adjustable strap (could be held as a hand-bag as well as shoulder bag), two front pockets with poppers (the right size for a mobile phone), and THREE zipped compartments (front, middle, back). There is also an internal pocket for a purse or cheque book. The zips are sturdy and look durable, and the edges are all well finished off. The bag is beautifully lined with a strong but attractive material, and it also feels as if it might be slightly padded: it has a soft feel inside anyway. My only - very minor - criticism is that there's no pen tab, but that's a minor thing. I've put a pen in one of the front pockets and it fits just fine. And all for 20!!!!! Brilliant - I love it! Buy one - or even two!
Little Brown Bag July 28, 2008 Bag Lady (Brighton, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Desperately seeking a small-but-also-spacious bag to wean myself off my much loved bottomless pit of piece over the summer months, I admit to having been persuaded by the previous reviewer's detailed summary of the shape, space and design of this bag. Now also in possession of the same in 'mud', I am delighted I took the risk just in time for my forthcoming holiday. What a marvellous little creation this is: well-crafted, durable & bizarrely tardis-like to carry all those irritating essentials with discreet style, up to and including the obligatory airport paperback (-and as an added bonus, the package fits through the letterbox!).
