Crocs aren't the best-looking footwear on the market, however, I suffer from plantar fasciitis (commonly known as Policeman's Heel), where the tendons inside the heel are inflamed and it's very painful to walk, especially when you first get up in the mornings. If I slip my crocs on as soon as I get up, I'm pain free. I now wear them at home all the time. They are far better than trainers, as the soles seem to absorb the impact of walking better. I'd wear them all the time but I'm not sure the look of them would go down well at work.

Have to say I agree with all the positive reviews here for Crocs. I bought my first pair after a transatlantic flight where my (normally) comfy shoes were killing me. I wore them for the second leg of the 24 hr flight and for the rest of the holiday. They are brilliant for walking - like walking on air! So comfy! I was really pleasantly surprised about the lack of sweating etc which I was worried about given them being plastic - but the claims about sweat and odour free are spot on.
Since returning I have bought another pair - my only regret? Not buying them in the US as they're MUCH cheaper there!
Really they are just great!!

These are the comfiest shoes I've ever worn. I wear them all day, as shoes and as slippers, walk the dogs in them, shop in them, garden in them....perfect!

I wasn't sure if I'd like these, but wanted to give them a try. I've hardly taken them off since I bought them - they are so comfy and convenient. I think they look cool, and lots of people seem to think they're cool, but my husband thinks they're clumpy looking, so I'm not sure what I think about their fashion potential!
As for comfort, they don't feel plasticky - more a nice rubbery sensation which doesn't rub at all and doesn't feel sweaty. Just very very comfy. Other people have said they're not supposed to get smelly, but my feeling is that even if they did you'd just wash them anyway, which would be really easy in view of what they're made of. I like them best when worn with bare feet, but also okay worn with socks (but not sure it looks so good).

I wear mine for all sorts of things as I work in the tropics. They're very comfortable around the house as slippers, great for wearing at the swimming pool, I use them for outdoor walking and exercise and I've just ordered a pair of black ones for wearing to work. They may not be the best looking shoes around, but they're far and away the most comfortable general purpose shoe I've ever had.
